What I mean when I say one hit wonder launches versus consistent cash…

One hit wonder launches = low or mid ticket short-term programs or offers that you might launch once but never again. 

You get a quick injection of cash at the time but it’s not an offer built on longevity, it’s not a strategy for sustainability or long term growth.

And THIS, this is how the Industry is lying to us – creating and launching short programs over and over again is not sustainable. 

But it’s something you see ALL the time. 

Business owners pumping out short programs or low to mid ticket offerings again and again to give them that cash injection and hit their income goals each month. 

It’s a high pressure roller coaster ride that’s just unsustainable.

Instead of pumping out these kinds of offers – you want to focus on building out a business model that supports you to create monthly recurring revenue and consistent cash in your business.

THIS is what will give you the solid foundation from which to grow and scale.

No more worrying about cash flow or where your next clients are going to come from. 

You’ll have consistent cash locked and loaded for the coming months – you’ll know what’s coming in so you can predict, forecast and plan around it. 

It’s consistent, it’s predictable, it’s stable. So delicious.

Now you might hear those words and be like – “Bec, consistent, predictable, stable – those are not words that I would normally describe as delicious. In fact they sound kinda boring.”

But here’s the thing. 

The most needle moving, impactful things in business – the things that are actually going to build you a sustainable, abundant business – are often not that sexy.



BUT they are the foundational things that, when you do them consistently, will pay off BIG time.

And let’s be real – consistent cash and monthly recurring revenue is pretty damn sexy in my opinion. 

So no more one hit wonder launches – 

Here’s what you need instead to create consistent cash in your business.

1: A business model geared for creating monthly recurring revenue

This is THE foundation you need – a business model that actually supports your goal of creating consistent cash.

Monthly recurring revenue is the income you can predict or expect to receive on a monthly basis. This could be coming from things like payment plans, retainer services, subscriptions or memberships.

In comparison to relying on one-off sales or bookings and having to bring in new clients and customers all the time, having monthly recurring revenue provides stability and consistency – you can predict your income for the months ahead.

This takes the pressure off and gives you more time to plan ahead and focus on long term growth.

So when thinking about this for your business – you need to be looking at your offers with a view to creating recurring revenue streams.

If you’re a coach…

Your signature coaching program will most likely be the primary recurring revenue stream for you. So you want to be focused first and foremost on filling your coaching books and building your monthly recurring revenue in that way.

If you’re a healer or a massage therapist or a yoga teacher…

Or someone who offers one-off sessions or classes in some capacity – you gotta get a little creative to make monthly recurring revenue. 

  • Can you create a bundle or package offer? 

  • Can you create a monthly membership or subscription offer? 

  • What could that look like for you? 

Now I run a launch model in my business, which means that my business relies on launching to create monthly recurring revenue.

So for all my programs – the Spiritual Business Mistressmind, the Spiritual Business Academy and my new program Confident Consistent Cash – I have launches.

We open the cart and then we close the cart, which means I can have big income months during a launch and then it can dip down when I’m not launching. 

The risk here is that you end up in a one hit wonder launch cycle because you’re feeling like you’ve gotta constantly launch something to make consistent income.

The way that I've Intentionally built out my business model is to have one signature longer term high ticket mastermind program – the Spiritual Business Mistressmind – being a 6 month program.

A lot of my clients opt for payment plans which means I then know what’s coming in over the next 6-9 months, and then it allows me to plan accordingly. My other programs then stack on top of that.

So it’s worth noting that if you have a launch model – inconsistent cashflow can be a risk.

Meaning you want to design your offers in a way that minimises that risk. And also know that you don’t ever want to be relying on the success of one standalone launch for the success of your business.

You want to build a business model that is geared for creating monthly recurring revenue and takes the pressure off - not adds the pressure on!

Sometimes it can be tempting to focus on those small one hit wonder launches, because they might be fun and it might feel easier to sell something low ticket, but if you’re not making consistent cash in your business yet, they are distracting you from your end goal and keeping you stuck at this level.

Your pricing needs to make sense for your customer journey. 

You want to be encouraging client retention and ascension through your value ladder. 

So you’re continuing to stack your income and building strong, sustainable relationships with your clients. 

These are the foundations you need for a business model that will support you to create consistent cash in your business.

2: A solid marketing strategy that consistently fills your pipeline with spicy hot leads

Once you’ve nailed the business model that will support you to create monthly recurring revenue – you then need to make sales, and to make sales you need to attract the right people.

To do this, you need a marketing strategy that consistently fills your pipeline with spicy hot leads.

When I say pipeline, I’m talking about the process or stages that someone goes through from finding you to buying from you. 

So what does that look like?

Let’s keep it really simple. There’s no need to hear the words marketing strategy and overcomplicate everything.

  1. You need a lead generation strategy. As in, a way that you’re bringing new people into your community. A strategy that attracts new potential clients and customers into your business.

  2. And you need a content strategy to nurture and serve your people once they’re in your community. Giving them a way to get to know, like and trust you before they then purchase from you.

Don’t overcomplicate this. I’m a big believer that all strategies work if you work them. 

So decide on a strategy that you want to try and go all in on it – commit to that strategy for a period of time, tweak and refine as you go, learn what works and what doesn’t work for you, rinse and repeat.

3: Everything working together towards your goal of creating consistent cash in your business

Your business model, your offers, your pricing, your marketing and sales strategy – all need to be working together towards your goal. 

It all needs to be in alignment.

Your business model sets the foundation for making this happen. Your offers need to be geared towards creating recurring revenue and providing ongoing value to your clients. Your pricing structures need to make sense for your client journey and encourage client retention and ascension through your value ladder. 

And your marketing and sales strategy is what keeps it all flowing and growing. As new clients flow in, and existing clients continue to flow through your offers, the business continues to grow and your monthly recurring revenue starts stacking up.

All elements need to be working harmoniously together in order to bring in that delicious consistent cash each and every month.

So let’s recap:

  • One hit wonder launches are unsustainable and it’s a lie that constantly creating and launching new short programs and low to mid ticket offers will help you grow your business.

  • Instead you want to be focusing on building out a business model that supports you to create monthly recurring revenue and consistent cash in your business.

  • To do this you need offers, pricing and a simple marketing & sales strategy that is geared towards bringing in monthly recurring revenue to your business.

Because you’re not here to just make a quick buck. 

You’re here to build a sustainable business that’s here for the long term, through all the ups and downs, and a business that provides real value to your clients in the long term.
