Want To Get Fully Booked? Listen To This

Today on the Feminine Fire Podcast we’re talking all about how to get fully booked in your business with absolute dreamboat clients.

This episode will resonate with you as a spiritual business owner who wants to grow and scale your business.

Now I’m assuming if you’ve clicked on this episode that this is a desire that you have – whether you’re just starting to book your first clients OR you’ve been working with clients for a while but now you’re ready to completely fill your roster.

This will be one for you!

We are going to specifically chat about what might be holding you back from getting fully booked right now, and what to do about it.

Because I so often see the same things come up again and again with clients – and if that’s the case for my clients, it’s likely the case for you too.

I encourage you to take what resonates and make these actions a priority in your business.

First things first…

Get clarity on what fully booked looks like for you in your business.

The biggest thing I see people missing when it comes to getting fully booked strategy-wise is not having a clear picture of what that *actually* looks like in their business.

They’ll have this vague desire to get “fully booked” but they don’t know what that actually looks like in terms of numbers and time.

Sometimes it’s a guesstimate. Like, “I’d love 20 clients a week.”

Okay, so what’s that based on

  • Is that based on 4 clients 5 days a week?

  • 5 clients 4 days a week?

  • Is it just plucked out of thin air?

Depending on what service you provide and your current capacity, that might be an overestimation or perhaps an underestimation.

The question is - what do you actually have time for in your calendar as it currently stands?

Knowing too that you want to have time to work ON your business, not just IN your business.

You don’t want to just pack your calendar full of back to back clients from 9am to 5pm each and every day with no lunch break and no white space.

Let’s look after you too. You didn’t start your business to work yourself into the ground.

So I want you to open your calendar, consider your current offers and services and ask – what does fully booked actually look like for you realistically?

How many clients are we talking about each week or month? Let’s put a number on it and map it out in your calendar so we know that the number of clients you want is grounded in your actual capacity.

Now you know what fully booked looks like in terms of numbers, you can then match your marketing and sales strategy to your goal.

Sometimes the gap between where you’re at now and where you want to be is actually smaller than you think – I know for some of my clients when we’ve run these numbers they’ve been pleasantly surprised that actually we’re only looking for another 2, maybe 3 clients before being fully booked.

For others, there might still be a way to go – and that’s okay!

It just means that the strategy you need to get fully booked will be different, but the only way you’ll know is if you actually run those numbers. This is why I don’t prescribe cookie cutter one size fits all approaches – your strategy needs to be tailored to where you’re at and what your goals are.

Okay, so now that you’re clear on what fully booked looks like for you, let’s chat through…

What other things might be holding you back from getting fully booked.

1: Your Offers

Going through this process of getting clear about what fully booked looks like for you may have brought up some changes that you’d like to make to your offers.

For example:

If your capacity is less than expected because you need time before and after a client session to prepare, that might look like raising your prices to better reflect the actual time and value you’re providing.

Because there’s often so much more that goes into a session than what happens inside that 60 or 90 min window. Your price needs to reflect that.

So what changes might you need to make to your offers to support you to get fully booked?

2: Your Calendar

Do you need to make some changes to your calendar to support you in being fully booked?

For example:

Maybe you’ve realised that you could structure your days or weeks differently to create more space in your calendar.

I know before maternity leave when I was working 3 days a week, I switched from working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday to working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and it was such a gamechanger.

When my first day of the work week was a Wednesday, it always felt like I was starting the week on the back foot, 2 days behind everyone else and already exhausted after 2 days of toddler mum life.

When I switched to working Monday through Wednesday, I had so much more energy, felt more productive and was able to show up at my best for both the business and my family. It was such a simple calendar change but one that had a profound impact for me. Perhaps doing this has brought up something similar for you calendar-wise?

So are there any changes you need to make to you calendar?

3: Your Boundaries & Priorities

Do you need to get clearer on your boundaries in business? Do you need to get better at prioritising?

For example:

Maybe right now you’re filling every spare moment working on your business, thinking about your business, doing all of the things and you’re subconsciously worried that getting more clients equals more work and how on earth are you going to make that happen if you’re already feeling overwhelmed? How are you going to possibly fit more clients in without burning out?

I can tell you right now, energetically, this is going to be a big block for you. So what boundaries can you put in place now to give you more time & space? How can you start working smarter, not harder?

How much of what you do each and every week is “busy” work? Work that keeps you busy but isn’t actually moving the needle forward? This is something I see all the time with clients. It’s something I’ve done in different seasons myself. But if you want to get fully booked, you’re going to have to get more clear than ever before on your boundaries and priorities.

So what boundaries do you need to put in place? What are your priorities?

4: Your Systems & Processes

Do you need to implement some new systems and processes to support you?

For example:

If you have an onerous and manual onboarding process for your clients, the idea of onboarding all those clients, as you book more and more, might feel overwhelming.

Energetically, this might then become a block for you because you could energetically hold yourself back from calling in more clients because the idea of doing all that back end admin work feels too much.

In this case, you might need to look into automating some of your processes, setting up systems to support you, so it feels more streamlined and easy. You want your clients to feel nurtured and nourished when they work with you, but you want to do that in a way that isn’t onerous for you. Automation is your friend.

So what systems or processes will support you to not just strategically call in more clients, but energetically too?

5: Your Mindset

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, so much of business is a mindset game.

Especially when working towards BIG goals like getting fully booked. Mindset is key.

So firstly, I want you to decide here and now that your success is not negotiable.

There will always be things outside your control, it might take longer than you’d like or it might not happen in the exact way you thought BUT your success is inevitable. It’s guaranteed. It’s happening. There is NO questioning it. That is the unwavering truth.

So if things aren’t happening on your timeline right now, if things aren’t happening as FAST as you’d like them too, please know that I feel you, I see you, I am and have been you. AND it doesn’t mean anything about you, the value you provide or your inevitable success.

You’re in business for the long game. The quantum leaps and fast growth you see being shared all over the internet were often years in the making.

Sustainable growth is totally underrated and is my version of sexy business. I said to someone the other day, sustainable growth isn’t sexy. But fuck that. Let’s make it sexy. Show me a business that has been built sustainably with solid business foundations, bloody great offers that deliver epic results for their people and a CEO with a regulated nervous system and a life off the ‘gram that they love. Mmhmm. Yes, please!

So, now that you’ve decided your success is inevitable – what are those sneaky mindset blocks that might be holding you from getting fully booked?

As always, there are lots of things that could come up for you here. They will be specific to you.

But some of the big ones will be…

Is this even really possible for me? Am I “good enough”, “smart enough”, “whatever enough” to be fully booked?

This comes down to feeling “worthy” of your success. If “not enough-ness” shows up in other areas of your life, probably a good bet that it’s showing up here too.

The other one is lack of self belief and self trust – will I be able to handle it? Will I be able to hold that many clients? What if I can’t? etc etc

First step is identifying these mindset blocks, the ones that are coming up for you. Not making yourself wrong for them. And then doing the work to shift them.

My clients that are consistently fully booked are the ones that consistently work on their mindset, they know the importance of it and they make it a priority in their lives and businesses.

So what mindset shifts do you need to make? How are you making this a priority?

Getting fully booked is closer than you think!

If you want to get fully booked, these are the steps that I recommend. Getting really clear on what fully booked actually looks like for you, and then examining your offers, your calendar, your boundaries and priorities, your systems and processes, and your mindset, and making any necessary changes or shifts.

Getting fully booked is SO possible for you. And it is probably closer than you think!

I hope that today’s episode has supported you. Don’t forget to actually take these learnings and implement them in your business. Super key if you want to see the results. Don’t just think about it, action it.
